Terms & Conditions applicable to all Buyers and Sellers participating on Frozendeal.com

Frozendeal.com is an initiative of Monsoon Agro Bio Pvt. Ltd., a company operating in the Frozen Food Business since 1995.

Frozendeal.com is an E-Mandi for Frozen Food Commodities like Green Peas, Sweet Corn, Baby Corn or Frozen Vegetables Cuts and Purees, Frozen Fruit Cuts and Pulps, Frozen Potato Fries along with Frozen Snacks, etc.

It is a fully transparent platform where Buyer and Seller can strike a real-time deal by participating through a user-friendly web application.

For Buyers

Procurement Guidelines, EMD Rules, RFQ & Reverse Auction Policies
1 BUY NOW Process:

The Buyer can see the price and inventory of products available for sale on the website for various frozen food categories.

  • 1.1. The Buyer can buy directly from the seller of his choice after viewing the product details and seller ratings.
  • 1.2. The Buyer will have to pay earnest money deposit (EMD) which is 5% of the deal value.
  • 1.3. If the deal is cancelled by the seller, EMD shall be refunded without any deduction.
  • 1.4. If the deal is cancelled by the buyer, EMD shall be refunded with deduction of Rs. 500 towards cancellation charges.
2 RFQ Process (Request For Quotation):

If the Buyer doesn’t select any goods from the marketplace, he can submit a Request For Quotation (RFQ).

  • 2.1. Buyer will pay EMD which is 5% of deal value as per lowest rate available on the marketplace to initiate RFQ.
  • 2.2. Frozendeal will invite all the available sellers and will ensure at least 3 sellers send their quotes.
  • 2.3. RFQ will remain open for 24 hours after posting.
  • 2.4. Frozendeal will give their view/opinion and buying Insights to the Buyer for buying the best available products.
  • 2.5. If the deal is cancelled by the seller, EMD shall be refunded without any deduction.
  • 2.6. If the deal is cancelled by the buyer, EMD shall be refunded with deduction of Rs. 500 towards cancellation charges.
3 Auction Process:

If the Buyer wants to go for an auction, a Reverse Auction shall be opened for 30 minutes at 12 PM next day or the other convenient time to ensure the best deal for the Buyer.

  • 3.1. Buyer will pay EMD which is 5% of deal value as per lowest rate available on the marketplace to initiate Auction.
  • 3.2. Frozendeal will invite all the sellers for auction and will ensure at least 3 sellers participate in bidding.
  • 3.3. Frozendeal will submit the Auction Report to the Buyer after it gets concluded along with the view/opinion and buying Insights to the Buyer for buying the best available products.

Buyer will have access to the Seller’s details after the EMD confirmation.

The final right to choose the supplier/seller shall vest with the buyer.

EMD deposited by the buyer shall be adjusted against the final Invoice amount.

The deal shall be done on the basis of purchase and sale of the goods and the invoicing shall be done by Monsoon Agro Bio Pvt. Ltd.—the promoters of Frozendeal.com.

Buyer has to lift the goods within a week after the closure of the deal.

Frozendeal.com can also assist the buyer in arranging Reefer trucks for carriage of goods.

For Sellers

Supplier Onboarding, Facility Inspection, Bidding Rules & Fulfilment

There are no registration charges for participation in the Frozendeal.

The Frozendeal representative shall visit the Seller’s facility and the Seller will provide the necessary information along with photos/videos as required by Frozendeal.

Seller can see his rating once the inspection is completed.

Seller can upload photos/videos of his facility/products.

Seller will quote only for stocks in hand either produced or contracted along with the product specifications utilizing a ticket from the subscription wallet.

The Buyer details shall only be available to the seller only if the Seller bags the order.

Seller will quote in competition with other Sellers in RFQ and/or Auction process.

The prices quoted by a seller shall be seen only to him and no other sellers.
9
Seller can see his own rank such as L1, L2, L3, ... if the Seller is amongst top 3 bidders when participating in an auction and will have access to update prices in real time.

The final right to choose the supplier/seller shall vest with the buyer.

Seller will have to ship the goods promptly on receipt of PO and vehicle availability.

Seller has to ensure the goods are fit for human consumption.

The deal shall be done on the basis of purchase and sale of the goods and the invoicing shall be done by Monsoon Agro Bio Pvt. Ltd.—the promoters of Frozendeal.com.
